We are in need of volunteers that are experienced with shelter dogs. We are a non profit organization that
boards dogs for other non profit rescues. Most of the dogs do have some type of behavior issue and are not
suited for beginners. They are great dogs that just need a little bit of love and training. Please, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or you can also fill out a volunteer application on our website
at heidisvillage.org. Thank you so much!

About Heidi's Village
Location:
600 N 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008, US
Mission Statement
Heidi's Village exists to foster a community where animals are treated with respect, dignity and compassion.
Description
Over 130,000 animals are lost, abandoned, or unwanted and surrendered to shelters in Arizona each year.
Opened in April 2020, Heidi’s Village works with existing animal rescues to provide the most convenient and safest way to handle medical and behavioral needs of an animal in one location. The most critical services an animal will need from a behavior and medical standpoint can be done in the same location: rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We care for these animals providing boarding, medical intervention, grooming, behavioral intervention, and wellness services all in one location. This relieves expense and time for the rescue as well as reduces anxiety for these vulnerable animals.
