Longmont Friends of Feral & Abandoned Cats (LFFAC) provides TNR, food, and medical care for colony cats. Under-socialized cats and kittens are provided shelter, food, and medical care in our LFFAC shelter while on their their paths toward adoption.Through our socialization program, we help prepare them through play, training, and physical contact for their eventual loving, forever home .
Would you enjoy caring, compassionate interaction with cats who are learning to trust humans? LFFAC is seeking volunteers who enjoy the challenge of teaching under-socialized cats to play and enjoy human companionship. Positive training and play activities also provide the healthy environment our cats need to thrive and become acclimated to humans and an indoor environment. Volunteers must be 18 years and older. Training will be provided.
