Bald Hill Broom Bust with Marin County Parks

Saturday, April 8th

9:00am - 12:00pm; optional lunch provided from 12:00 - 1:00pm!

Please join Marin Water and Marin County Parks for our annual Bald Hill Broom Bust! Volunteers will focus on containing the spread of French and Scotch broom monocultures and also eradicate pioneer patches. Meet at Deer Park and hike, bike or carpool to the site. Group leaders will depart Deer Park at 8:45 a.m.; volunteers can also choose to meet us up at Sky Ranch Open Space. Visit our Google Map for more information and directions. This is a family-friendly activity suitable for ages 8 and up; volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers under age 18 must have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Tools, gloves, food, and drinking water will be provided. Please dress for variable weather, wear close-toed shoes with ankle support, and bring a water bottle.
