Volunteer Coordinator

We’re currently looking for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator to help spread our mission. HelpCity’s mission is to bring relief to low-income single mothers and widows by dispatching volunteer groups to help with physically demanding tasks in the home.

Responsibilities

• Manages the screening of new volunteer groups
• Onboards volunteer groups to ensure safe and successful site visits
• Troubleshoots any issues before and/or on the day of the volunteer site visit to client's home

Commitment: volunteer position (unpaid), 6 months with a renewal option

Work environment:

• Being a part of a start-up non-profit team
• Rewarding work serving an underserved community in Seattle

We are a community of passionate individuals with the audacity to believe we can make a difference in our small corner of the world. That’s why we come together every Saturday morning to roll up our sleeves and assist a low-income single mother or widow with small, laborious projects around the home.
