Event Committee Members Needed - Commitment to a Cure Gala (DC Metro))

We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our Commitment to a Cure Gala Committee. Volunteer committee members partner with the Gala Chair and Arthritis Foundation staff to ensure that the event meets its community engagement and fundraising goals. Committee member's responsibilities may include:

• Attend regular committee meetings
• Solicit sponsorships and auction donations
• Assist with marketing the event to local business, corporations and healthcare providers
• Share the mission of the Arthritis Foundation

The ideal people would be willing to commit several hours each month between now and the event which will be held in October 2023.

The Arthritis Foundation’s Commitment to a Cure Gala raises awareness about the prevalence and seriousness of arthritis while raising critical funds to support our mission of conquering arthritis. Funds raised will be invested in research and advocacy efforts as well as education programs and support for the nearly 60 million Americans - adults and children - living with arthritis. The Gala brings together Washington DC’s medical and business stakeholders, as well as patients and families, for an evening of fine dining, a brief awards program and auction all in the name of finding a cure for arthritis.
