We appreciate you volunteering with WAAA!

The Gala Procurement Committee ass the Gala Chair and Special Events Coordinator in the day-to-day functions of planning and executing the event.

Responsibilities include:

  • Email correspondence with potential vendors requesting auction items for the annual Gala.
  • Fill out online donation forms where applicable and tracking procurement progress.
  • Making phone calls and sending emails to potential vendors, donors, guests, and sponsors.
  • Helping with procurement packet mailings, invitation mailings, and other tasks.
  • Update the master sheet adequately with responses in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up on donation requests.
  • Helping register guests for the event.
  • Respond to vendor queries, send out requested documents and direct them to the relevant personnel from the organization.
  • Must be comfortable being flexible in day-to-day tasks, since responsibilities change based on necessary projects and changing deadlines

By Providing pro bono guidance, counseling, coordination, training, resources, and legal support to families and professionals, to help them attain effective autism treatment and socially significant rehabilitative programs statewide. We appreciate you.
