Gardening Volunteers Needed
The Arboretum Assistants program consists of over 100 active volunteers who play a crucial role in maintaining the Arboretum’s collections. Under the supervision of a gardener, volunteers weed, prune, plant, and generally lend a hand where it is needed across the Arboretum campus. The benefits of volunteering include: learning about good gardening practices, connecting with other "plant people", working with professional gardeners, helping us maintain over 300 acres of gardens and woodlands, gardening at the "most beautiful campus in America", and exercising your mind and body.
