Do you want to take action to keep toxic materials out of the environment? We need your help at our Home Toxics Center Saturday collection events!
Our Home Toxics Center events are where residents drop off household hazardous waste to be properly disposed of. Common items are paint, household cleaners, automotive fluids, and batteries.
Volunteers help with unloading materials from residents' vehicles and placing them on carts.
- Snacks, protective equipment (goggles, apron, and gloves), and training for all volunteers are provided.
- Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Learn more about the Home Toxics Center at org/hometoxics.
