If quilting is a skill you possess, I have a wonderful, fulfilling opportunity for you. At Capital Hospice and Palliative Care, our greatest strength is caring for our patients. That is why we are reaching out to you: the talented artists of the world.
How about using your quilting skills to do some good in the world? If that sounds of interest to you, then I encourage you to apply, to give back to the community through creating beauty for veterans, other patients and their families.
The quilts you will handcraft are truly appreciated, and will be worn with pride. The comfort your quilts provide is all we can ask for. If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please reach out today so we can get the ball rolling.
Contact Volunteer Coordinator Hannah Youkhana at hyoukhana@capitalhpc.com or (630)-395-7728.
*No direct contact with patients required, we simply are looking for people of all ages to create quilts*
