Support Komen at the 2023 Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day!
Join us at Ben & Jerry's - Plano Parkway located at 1501 Preston Road Suite 400 Plano TX 75093 on April 3rd.
Volunteers must be willing and able to scoop ice cream, ask for donations, greet customers and bring awareness to the community about breast health and ways to get involved with Komen. Volunteers will receive information about Komen's impact in the community prior to event. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift and can choose to volunteer for up to four (4) shifts.
Requirements:
1. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
2. Volunteers should be courteous, outgoing and knowledgeable about Komen (will receive reading materials).
3. Volunteers will need to wear pink. Here is your chance to really PINK OUT!!
4. Volunteers must commit to the entire 2 hour shift and arrive 15-20 minutes before shift start time.
5. Volunteers will need to practice safe food handling procedures: washing hands, wearing gloves, washing hands, no eating behind counter, etc. This will be reviewed before your shift.
