Communi-TEA is an afternoon of respite and pampering for women who are experiencing housing or economic insecurity. Women are invited to attend at no cost and its success is ensured with the help of volunteers and donations.

Join with San Jose Club women in providing this day of compassion, support and sisterhood! Be a Volunteer and Be in the room you won’t regret it!

Setup on Thursday, April 27, 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm

· Final setup and Decoration: 9:00 am - 11:00 am

· Table Concierges and Greeters: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
Kitchen Assistants and Servers: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Clothing Distribution Assistants 1:00 pm - 4:00
Cleanup: 3:00 pm
Bra sorting for community distributions: 3:00 pm

    Come help us setup for an event for women who are marginalized. We will also work from 4:45 until 8:30 pm

Informing and activating small communities of women and men to share, recycle and volunteer; our mission is to impact on the daily lives of women in transition by providing needed essential undergarments.

Description

Help those in need by donating bras that no longer fit. Homeless women frequently request bras from shelter staff but they don't have their size. We are collecting All sizes, styles, and colors for donation.

We also partner with local nonprofits helping women by hosting fundraising events and having beauty and empowerment days for women in shelters or re-entry programs.
