Custom Hospice is looking for passionate volunteers to join our family. A hospice volunteer fills a unique role in providing comfort and support to patients and families by giving their gifts of time, energy, and compassion.
Custom hospice is dedicated in providing outstanding care based on a core belief that integrity and respect for each other, our patients, and our community is the cornerstone to excellence.
The Companion volunteer will visit with a hospice patient - in the patient's home or a care facility - in order to provide a supportive presence. This can be done through conversation or other social activities or merely being there for the patient. Volunteers will document their patient visits and provide feedback to the hospice team regarding the patient's condition.
