Are you interested in local history? Do you enjoy engaging with the public? Are you looking for an enjoyable and rewarding volunteer opportunity? If you said yes to any of these, then we would love to talk to you about our volunteer tour guide positions! Our tour guides lead tours through the Octagon House Museum in Hudson, WI, engage with the public, and get the opportunity if they would like to participate in costumed interpretation days! We require at least two weekends of participation per month between May and October. There are also opportunities to lead walking tours and other speciality tours throughout the year! Description
The Hudson History Connection (Octagon House Museum) is a historic house museum in Hudson, WI. The house was built in 1855 and has been a museum since 1964. Our open season is May - October with select tours during the winter time. We are open Friday-Sunday for house tours and we have a gift shoppe on site as well.
