We have an exciting internship opportunity to gain full experience of working on an urban farm. You will expand your skills with first-hand experience of growing food, tending to the gardens, weeding, recordkeeping, and selling food at farmers markets. You will be interacting with local farmers, hunger relief organizations, food service organizations, and other urban garden organizations.

NUBIA was founded in 2008 to reduce the impact of food insecurity in the Boston Metropolitan area and create an environment where families are able to learn how to be self-sufficient. Our gardens are located in Boston, Mattapan, Dorchester, and Roxbury.

Our dates are flexible, and we will work with your schedule. Join us to fulfill your degree requirements, gain valuable agricultural experience, serve your community, and increase access to local and fresh foods to low-income residents in the Boston area.
