Volunteers are the life force of Grand Rapids Pit Bull Alliance, our outreach work enables us to magnify our impact in our community and keep pets with their families and out of the shelter.
Responsibilities:
Make monthly calls to clients in our home delivery program the Kibble Cab to find out what they need for the month, arrange a day and time to deliver. Pick up supplies from our pet support center in Kentwood then deliver those items. This can all be done on the volunteers availability and around their schedule. Calls and delveries are made every 30 days. We only ask that volunteers sign up for at least 2 deliveries a month.

Mission Statement
Grand Rapids Pit Bull Alliance mission is to advocate for dogs prone to breed discrimination while providing outreach and assistance to all pet owners of all pet species who may be struggling financially.
Description
Grand Rapids Pit Bull Alliance has been keeping pets with their families since 2017 and started by providing pet food, pet supplies with our mobile pet food bank the Kibble Cab.
We have expanding our areas of assistance to mass pet food distribution collaborations, vaccine clinics, assistance with veterinary care, transportation to pet appointments, grooming, canine behavoir and training. Our assistance areas grow as we are presented with the needs of our community. We partner with human service agencies to serve both the pet and their family.
Future goal to build a larger more sustainable crisis fostering program for owned pets who just need a temporary place to stay until they can be reunited with their family.
Keeping pets with their families and shelter diversion practices are at the heart of Grand Rapids Pit Bull Alliance.
