About the Event:
The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation is thrilled to announce that the 2023 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala is returning this year on April 8th, 2023 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel. This year’s 2023 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala will be the very first event to kick off our milestone celebration for our S.U.C.C.E.S.S. 50th Anniversary and will be filled with good company and many exciting activities, including a very special performer we have in store for our finale Gala performance. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go towards our integral underfunded/unfunded programs that help families, youth, women, and seniors.
Event Information:
Location: Grand Ballroom, Westin Bayshore Hotel (1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver, B.C.)
Date: Saturday, April 8, 2023
Timeline: Move-in: 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Stage Rehearsal: 4:00pm - 5:30pm (to be confirmed)
Reception: 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Dinner: 6:30pm - 10:00pm
Clean up/take down: 10:00pm - 11:30pm
Dress Code: Business Casual (black, dark blue, dark grey)

-Venue Set-up Volunteers (12:30-5:00pm)
-Coordination and Support Volunteers (3:00-11:30pm)
-Registration Desk Volunteers (3:00-8:30pm)
-VIP Reception Area Volunteers (3:00-8:30pm)
-Auction and Raffle Sales Volunteers (3:00-10:00pm)
-Stage Area and Green Room Volunteers (3:30-10:30pm)
-Foyer Activity Stations Volunteers (3:00-8:30pm)
-Event Photography Volunteers (3:30-10:30pm)
-Banquet Hall Volunteers (4:30-11:30pm)

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. was founded in 1973 and incorporated in 1974 as a non-partisan and non-profit charitable organization. Initially founded to assist new Canadians of Chinese descent to overcome language and cultural barriers, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has evolved into a multicultural, multi-service agency assisting people at all stages of their Canadian experience.
Today, the organization is recognized as one of British Columbia's largest social service providers. With over 20 locations, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. proudly services local communities in Greater Vancouver, Fort St. John and overseas in Taipei, Taiwan and Seoul, Korea. Through advocacy, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is also recognized as a prominent voice of positive social change.
Guided by policies envisioned by a board of volunteer directors elected by the membership, over 400 professional staff and 2,000 volunteers deliver a multitude of services in the areas of settlement, employment, health and housing as well as business, auto insurance, economic, community and social development.
