Social media volunteer(s) will develop content for posts on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and/or other approved platforms. Requires strong listening skills to recognize good stories, topics and issues. Responsibilities include suggesting social media posts and developing mock-ups on a wide variety of topics (food, nutrition, health, wellness, art, youth, education, environment, cultural diversity, and/or human rights etc.) You will post about innovative practices at our organization and exemplary programs elsewhere that equally inspire. Select your exact topic(s) to focus on with your proposed posts. We will work together to ensure the finished posts follow internal branding guidelines and that the content informs and inspires. The ability to quickly find information across the Internet, measure engagement and track our audience is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of basic programs like Canva, PicMonkey, iMovie, or more advanced software is desired, but not required. This position is remote and may be done from anywhere.
