Becoming a citizen is a dream for many & you can help them achieve that dream. Volunteers will support participants in our in-person Citizenship Preparation classes as they prepare for the naturalization test and interview. Literacy staff provide materials, instruction and referrals and volunteers provide support and help to facilitate small group work.

Bilingual (Eng/Sp) volunteers are highly desirable, and essential for the Spanish Citizenship preparation class (Thursdays 5-6pm @ Cesar Chavez Library).

This opportunity is perfect for Service Learning and High School Community Service credits, and anyone else seeking to make an immediate and tangible difference in their community.
