(Operations) Volunteer Graphic Design

We are currently recruiting members for our graphic design team!

As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to offer your expertise to a growing non-profit. You will also be able to network with like-minded individuals and build your portfolio with your creations!

Ashe Arts & STEM is headquartered in Los Angeles (Tarzana, CA), but applicants need not reside in the Los Angeles metro area as meetings are virtual. While this is a virtual opportunity, you still must live in the United States to apply.

Time
We are seeking someone who could provide at least 10 hours per week on average of volunteer time (as needed) to support our efforts.

Responsibilities

• Creating flyers & banners for community events
• Help design informational power-points that will be presented potential donors and grant holders
• Create designs that will be featured across all of the organization’s social media accounts
• Create images that will be used by the marketing team for our daily social media posts
• Dedicating time to helping the organization with design creation/help

Preferred, but NOT required

• Attended school / currently attend school for a degree relevant to graphic design
• Experience using design programs such as:
• Canva
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Illustrator
• Experience creating flyers for community/volunteer events
• Knowledge of how to use presentation applications (such as Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint)
