The snack assistant will engage in routine food service activities related to the setting
up of the snack area(s) and the serving of nutritionally balanced meals/snacks to the students. The snack assistant will also assist the program cook with maintaining cleanliness of the food service area. Additionally, the snack assistant might be asked to engage individual or small groups of children that have completed their snack in a brief activity (eg working on a puzzle, coloring, reading a book, etc.).
