Mission Statement

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Description

Here in metro-Atlanta, Scouting continues to improve families and our community by serving more than 32,000 youth in 13 counties: Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, Rockdale. The Atlanta Area Council is divided into 13 geographical areas called districts.
