Location: Virtual, in-person as needed at IRCO’s Pacific Islander & Asian Family Center: 8040 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR 97213
Schedule: Flexible - 4-6 hours per week
Program Description: IRCO's Community Development team serves to bridge community, our agency, and public institutions. The Community Needs Assessment, in particular, serves as a platform to elevate immigrant and refugee voices so that services and programming are responsive to their need. The work provided by the Community Needs Assessment Researcher will help to inform the development of future CNAs, as well as other data-collection tools used internally.
Position Summary: The volunteer would be assisting IRCO's Community Needs Assessment (CNA) Coordinator to help conduct a literature review of best practices for social needs screenings, SDOH surveys, and indicators for immigrant integration, in order to inform the development of future IRCO CNAs. Once the literature review is completed, the volunteer will work with the CNA Coordinator together to draft a new CNA survey, which will be presented to directors and managers at IRCO.

Time Commitment: 3 months

- Must be 18 or older
