The Upward Bound Math Science program is seeking volunteers to teach hands on major exploration classes to low income and first generation high school students in STEM fields. Volunteers would teach in one or two hour sessions, once a week. Examples of volunteer led courses in the past include: robotics, coding, entrepreneurship, technology in art, personal finance, etc. The purpose of the course would be to expose our students to different STEM fields.

The mission of Upward Bound at Medaille University is to support first-generation college-bound high school students in Buffalo, New York, in their completion of post-secondary education. Through strategic programming, we will equip students with the tools necessary to complete high school and pursue their passions in college and beyond.
Description
Upward Bound Math and Science is designed to strengthen the math and science skills of its participants. The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) related areas and to encourage them to earn their degrees and seek careers in STEM fields.
