Purpose:
his position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Volunteer Services (VS)Operations and Planning team which focuses on Business Operations, strategic reporting, project planning and volunteer background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Volunteer Services Operations Data Analyst.
- Support various administrative projects related to background checks, field training development, surveys, user testing and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reporting.
- Assist in development of PowerPoint Presentations.
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Experience providing administrative support or in an administrative assistant role
- Strong interest and experience working with data
- Strong proficiency with the entire MS Office Suite
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading experience
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Volunteer Connection
- Proficiency with MS SharePoint
Length Of Appointment:
1 year, renewable upon mutual agreement
