Be A Bike Ride Sag Stop Volunteer!
Lend a helping hand at the Head for the Cure Pedal for a Pour Bike Ride on June 4th by volunteering to run a sag stop along the route. You can sign up individually or as a group, and you will be placed at one of four locations to pass out snacks to riders as they pass on by. We will give you all the supplies you need, and all you need to do is be a smiling face and feed those bikers.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, make some friends, and support the Kansas City brain tumor community as we raise funds for Solace House, a partner of KC Hospice!
Plus, all volunteers are invited to the After Party at Drexel Hall after the ride! You will receive free lunch (burgers and veggie burgers provided by Two Men and a Grill) and two free beverages. Come for a great cause, stay for a great time!
Please note, sag stop volunteers need to be aged 18+. Some locations will be at breweries and tap houses, and all locations will have alcohol involved. You will not be serving alcohol.
To sign up a group to volunteer together, please email anna@headforthecure.org.
