The American Cancer Society's Young Professionals chapters are networks of motivated individuals working together to raise awareness and funds to support the American Cancer Society's (ACS) mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Our inaugural Greater DC Chapter seeks to combine social and professional networking while creating lasting change in the DMV. Our mission is to mobilize Greater DC Area Young Professionals to further the impact of the American Cancer Society through community engagement, fundraising, and advocacy.

Membership expectations include:

• Raise $1,000 for ACS via Young Professionals-related initiatives.
• Serve as a community ambassador.
• Participate in a mission-based volunteer activity.
