Help us end violence by presenting domestic violence prevention education to students, grades 5-12, at local area schools in Union County. Volunteers will work with our Prevention Education Coordinator. Shifts will be during the day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. However, you will get to choose how many days per week you would like to serve as a volunteer.
Volunteers must pass a background check.

Mission Statement
Turning Point provides crisis intervention services to survivors of domestic abuse and offers violence prevention education in Union and surrounding counties.
Description
Our goal is to provide a safe haven for victims by offering physical and emotional support, while working to prevent and reduce all forms of violence in South Arkansas.
In 2022, we served 81 clients. This is double the amount served in 2021. We received 563 hotline calls. We work to prevent and reduce all forms of violence in our community through prevention education. In 2022, we served prevention education to over 500 students in local schools.
