The 76th Western Intercollegiate will return to Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz on April 10-12, 2023.

One of the most spectacular championships in all of collegiate golf, the Western Intercollegiate attracts talented players from top colleges and universities. Starting with the first tournament in 1947, the Western Intercollegiate has featured a highly competitive field with many standout student-athletes who went on to success in the PGA Tour and in the golf industry.

Once again, the Western Intercollegiate will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel, so we need help in producing an event worthy of their TV audience. Volunteers are truly the heart of any successful event, so we’d love to have you join us!

Volunteers for this role will assist with event logistics around the course, either in the morning or afternoon shift. On the day(s) you volunteer, we will provide lunch for you, along with snacks and water.

The key criteria for this role are flexibility and communication skills. Volunteers in this role tend to cover a lot of ground, so please plan accordingly. Wear comfortable shoes, dress in layers, and be prepared to take your refreshments with you!

Depending on our needs on-site, you may be asked to:

• act as Ambassador/Greeter at the main entrance to Pasatiempo,
• drive for our golf cart shuttle service,
• direct traffic,
• help with setup and/or takedown, or
• serve as a runner or backup for someone on staff.

Please note your preferences for shifts and/or duties in your volunteer profile.

On the day of your assigned shift, please arrive early enough to account for parking, training, and setting up.
