Greeter and Visitor Interaction Representative

Job Description:
The Kiawanda Community Center (KCC) is seeking friendly and welcoming volunteers to join our team
as Welcome Desk Attendants. You will be the first point of contact for visitors to our community and play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
● Greet visitors with a warm smile and provide friendly and courteous customer service.
● Answer phone calls and provide information about our organization, our programs and South
Tillamook County.
● Direct visitors to appropriate areas of the facility and guide as needed.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
● Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
● Willingness to learn about the area and share this helpful knowledge with others.

MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Kiawanda Community Center is to create a safe and welcoming environment that embraces the local heritage by promoting community participation through intergenerational activities and culturally diverse programs that enrich the lives and values of citizens and visitors of South Tillamook County.

Description

Welcome to the Kiawanda Community Center, 'The Place to Be’ in our beautiful little beach town on the Oregon Coast. The KCC hosts classes, concerts, and community events, and we also welcome our community to join us for a Senior Meal every Thursday at 11:45am (lunch is served at noon).

Our center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. If you have a question, comment, or idea about KCC, please call us at the 503-965-7900 and ask to speak with a board member. We’d love to talk with you!

  • Sundays and / or Fridays 10 am- 3 pm. We can split these days among several volunteers. You choose your shift, first come-first serve!
  • We do not require that our volunteers are available for all the times listed, but rather ask them to choose when they can be available to work within the days and times listed.
