We are a private, nonprofit in need of a Secretary who will take and distribute Minutes at our Board Meetings, which occur on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm. Occasional other writing and recordkeeping is required.
Secretary is a Board Officer which also requires participation in some events, such as our monthly Open House/ Tour.
If you are good at documenting organizational processes and want to work with a fun group of people dedicated to saving the Historic Brown House and educating the community about its history, contact us and we can discuss how you could help our volunteer efforts.

The Santiam Heritage Foundation is restoring the historic Brown House in Stayton Oregon. The house is used for community social and cultural events and will provide office space for businesses or non-profit organizations.
Description
The Santiam Heritage Foundation, Inc is a recognized Oregon 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It is organized exclusively for non-political, charitable, educational purposes. Specifically, the purpose is to raise and administer funds to restore the Charles and Martha Brown House and establish an endowment to support operations, progress, and services to the community.
