Mission Statement

Beach Junki is dedicated to promoting clean beaches to protect sea turtles. We organize beach clean ups to bring awareness to the plastic pollution harming sea turtles. We use the plastic debris collected to create unique educational art pieces to display.

Description

We educate beach goers about the beach and how to save sea turtles by keeping the beach clean, dark and flat. Our Washed Up Project has 2 ocean art pieces displayed in the City of Fernandina Beach. We also have 2 beach toy borrow boxes for visitors to leave a toy or borrow a toy for the day.

  • We would like to have a project completed within 6 months of the start time. We are willing to work with the right artist. We added a photo of Amelia the Sea Turtle. The project piece will be displayed at a public beach access.
