Pet Food Insecurity Project

Help provide food to pets in need! Lack of or inadequate funds can limit pet owners' access to the necessary veterinary care and supplies a pet needs to thrive. FACE Foundation helps fill this gap by providing financial support for veterinary expenses and distributing pet food.

Volunteers will help out by packaging food for animals and assembling bags to distribute at various community outreach events.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Time Commitment: Volunteers are expected to stay 1-2 hours within the 10:00am - 3:00pm timeframe.

Attire: Closed toe, comfortable shoes. Business casual attire that could possibly get dirty.

Bring: Food is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages. There is also a vending machine on site.

Physical Requirements: Bending and lifting bags of dog food (up to 20lbs). Availability to sit or stand. The event space is wheelchair accessible. Accomodations can be made if you are unable to stand for long periods of time.

Weather: This event is indoors so it will take place rain or shine.

Note: Volunteers will be confirmed for shifts depending on the need for food packing that day. Up to 4 volunteers are needed each day.
