Our cat care volunteers feed, clean & socialize the cats waiting in the shelter for adoption. Sometimes it can be a messy job but watching the cats go to their new homes is more than worth it!
We ask that cat care volunteers commit to one 2-hour shift per week. Shifts are 7 days a week from 8 AM - 10 AM or 3 PM - 5 PM. Cat care training generally takes two sessions. You’d be shadowing one of our senior volunteers so you can learn all of what goes into taking care of our cats. Cat Care volunteers must be 18 yrs or older.
