Recruiting Organization: Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor
The National Canal Museum (NCM), an affiliate of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is searching for volunteers to serve as docents. Docents do not have to have experience giving museum tours but should be interested in the transportation and industrial history of the region, enjoy talking with the public, and should enjoy learning new things!
Docents can choose from working in the NCM gift shop, greeting visitors, and/or providing museum tours to visitors.
Training is provided. Background checks are required but are free.
