Job Summary: The Ministry Book Distribution Researcher / Publishing Researcher is responsible for researching, analyzing, and recommending book distribution strategies for a ministry or faith-based organization. This position requires a deep understanding of the publishing industry, as well as a passion for spreading the ministry's message through books and other media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis of various book publishers and their distribution channels to identify industry trends and best practices
• Collect and analyze data on book sales, distribution channels, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide recommendations to the ministry on how to optimize their book distribution and sales strategies based on research findings
• Collaborate with the ministry's marketing and communications teams to develop effective strategies for promoting and selling books through various channels
• Build and maintain relationships with publishers, distributors, and booksellers to stay current on industry developments and gather insights on emerging trends
• Keep up-to-date with industry news and trends to ensure the ministry remains competitive and responsive to changing market conditions.
• Ensure that all books and other materials are in line with the ministry's values and mission.
• Help create letters introducing the ministry and our top 10 books.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 years of experience in market research, publishing, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively present research findings to a wide range of stakeholders
• A passion for the book industry and a strong understanding of the publishing process
• A deep understanding of the ministry's mission, values, and message.
