Are you passionate about abortion rights? Do you believe bias in our government system is harming access to reproductive rights? A strong majority of Americans support Roe v. Wade, and yet it was overturned by the Supreme Court as a result of appointments to the Court by a president most Americans voted against. Democratism is a volunteer-based organization whose goal is to reform the federal election system so that the government will fairly represent the people.
Democratism is seeking outreach volunteers to distribute informational materials about the relationship between restrictions on reproductive rights and the federal election system at March Back CT in Hartford, CT on March 22, 2023. The event, hosted by Women’s March, will begin at 11:30 am EDT at the Connecticut State Capitol in response to the Connecticut pro life march. Volunteers will communicate with current members of Democratism in advance to learn about the organization’s approach and goals. Volunteers must be comfortable approaching activists at the march, handing out materials, and answering questions.
