REGIONAL OUTREACH COORDINATORS

Job Description

Coordinators are needed for the following New England state s : New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine,
Massachusetts ( 2 coordinators anticipated for: Central / Western Mass, Eastern Mass/South Shore /
Cape Cod regions) .

Responsibilities :

Coordinat es the public events for B.O.N.E.S. in a specific state or geographic area
Serves as the contact person for all requests for B.O.N.E.S. participation in
outreach activities such as Pet Expos, Walks and other outreach opportunities in
Outreach Coordinator’s designated geographical area
Assess es merit of each event and determine s B.O.N.E.S. participation status with Public Relations
Director and informs Treasurer of any associated costs
Submits event information to Public Relations Director for post ing on the B.O.N.E.S. website
e vent s calendar, social media platforms , and other media sites
Complete s necessary paperwork for B.O.N.E.S. to participate in specific events
Maintains inventory, restock, and disburse s supplies needed at events
Recruits volunteers via email or phone to participate or staff booths at e vents. Attendance at all
events by the Outreach Coordinator is not required .

Qualifications :

Must be an active B.O.N.E.S. volunteer
Must live in the New England state /geographic region which they represent
Possesses s trong organizational skills , ability to track events and manage supplies
Demonstrates a ttention to details and ability to work on a timeline
Demonstrates s trong communications skills with both volunteers and event planners
Ab le to disburse supplies via transport or mail for event participants
Support s the mission and work of B.O.N.E.S.
