Special Olympics Delaware has volunteer roles that range from one day event volunteers to coaches, practice volunteers, and unified partners that attend practice on a weekly basis to help prepare athletes for their competitions.
Athletes train for a period of 8-10 weeks and compete at a state level competition at the end of the season. Special Olympics Delaware trains year round in 20 different sports. You can read more about what sports we offer at http://www.sode.org/sports-competitions
