Director of Fundraising .The Fundraising Director shall facilitate or oversee all fundraising strategies. The Fundraising Director will work alongside other members of the board as needed in regards to generating and stewarding donors and securing grants and sponsors. The Fundraising Director will work with companies and corporations to develop relationships to secure sponsorships for FoDACC. The Fundraising Director will work with other animal welfare organizations to represent FoDACC when FoDACC is a beneficiary. The Fundraising Director will also be responsible for implementing special fundraising efforts and initiatives via social media when FoDACC needs additional funds for special needs such as foster medical bills, inventory to support fosters and adoption events, etc.

Description
Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is committed to saving animals' lives, ensuring equal access to companion animals for those of all socio-economic levels, and raising the level of care for animals living in the city of Detroit. We work hand in hand with Detroit Animal Care and Control to help the homeless animals at DACC and proactively keep animals out of our shelter in the first place.
