Aunt Bette's Place in Lynnwood is seeking volunteers to assist in supervising their kids and teens activity space. Hours are flexible but are typically afternoons. Aunt Bette's Place is a community center for the residents of Somerset Village apartments, a permanent housing facility of the YWCA.
Duties may include:
* Supervising activity space
* Assisting in the Tech Lab (computers, gaming, and 3D printing lab)
* Assist in activity planning, prep, and execution
* Help clean and sanitize space
* Assist kids and teens with homework and projects
* Participate in the planning and execution of events
Experience working with kids and teens in a multi-cultural environment and Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. Ideal candidates enjoy working with a variety of personality types and cultures, take direction well, enjoy leading and assisting with activities, and are reliable.
