Greeters welcome guests as they enter the facility, explain SOS's mission, inform guests of donation options, hours of operations, our no animal policy, and give a summary of the birds seen along the Bird Walk.

Mission Statement
We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick and injured wild birds while educating our community about preventing injuries and preserving habitats.
Description
We receive about 4,000 bird rescue calls per year. Sick and injured birds are brought into our Avian Hospital, where we try to rehabilitate and release every one. Birds that cannot be released are given permanent homes in our Wild Bird Learning Center, which is open to the public every day from 10 to 5.
