SAGE provides employment and training for survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking who are having a hard time finding and keeping jobs. Our program has been in operation for 2 years and has grown tremendously. We will continue to grow but we need your help! SAGE needs a volunteer coordinator to be the face of our organization at events and our periodic volunteer nights. Also we would like some help growing our pool of volunteers and developing/managing meaningful opportunities of everyone who wants to engage. Best of all you'll be a part of a very functional passionate team who can support you. We need you!

Our mission is to provide purposeful employment, guidance, and vocational training to human trafficking survivors and survivors of sexual trauma in a Christian-based, healing environment. Our trauma-informed staff and mentors provide resources and guidance in a holistic approach using elements of faith, hope, integrity, compassion, honesty, and love to focus on each woman individually. Viewing each employee as a worthy and loved daughter of God, we strive to help these women on their path to healing, success, and self-reliance.
Description
SAGE disrupts the cycle of shame for survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault by directly addressing the symptoms of PTSD in a workplace setting. SAGE also addresses other consequences of trauma through in-situ training, case management, career development, work skills and community building for each survivor.
