Learn to identify common spring ephemeral wildflowers and get trained as a Wildflower Ranger on how to protect wildflowers in your favorite natural area. Through this hands-on service-learning activity removing invasive garlic mustard, you’ll get off-trail outdoor exercise and develop a sense of well-being in nature, all while enjoying an exceptional community-building experience. Snacks, water, and gloves provided (bring your own water bottle).

Description
Washtenaw County's 27 cities, villages and townships are home to about 325,000 citizens in urban, suburban, and rural settings. This mix of different settings provides many opportunities for education, recreation, business, agricultural, and home life. The two largest cities are Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, homes to two large universities - the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
