From April 4 through April 16, volunteers are needed for RiverRun, arts nature impact, our next international festival celebrating the World’s Rivers and their cultures.
Requirements include enthusiasm and willingness to serve for at least two shifts for any of the following volunteer positions:
- Installation & Information Assistant
- Interactive Monitor
- Volunteer Check-in Assistant
RiverRun will be kicking off a 10-year vision of planned programming here at the Kennedy Center, focused on finding global solutions for protecting our environment, and will include bi-yearly festivals and the REACH Biennales.

Description
A person who, beyond regular paid employment and normal day-to-day responsibilties, chooses to contribute time and service as a member of the Kennedy Center personnel team to assist the Center in the accomplishment of its mission.Friends volunteer services operates every day of the year unless otherwise indicated. Daily shifts are from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.; 6 p.m .- 9 p. m. Areas include gift shops, tour guides, information desk, administration and education.
