Recruiting Organization: Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village

At Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village one of our top priorities is the preservation of our historic buildings which represent the early history of the Buffalo Niagara Region. Through these buildings we keep alive the memory of this region’s history and its traditional ways of life.

To aid us in preserving these important buildings we need your help! We are looking for four volunteers to assist in ensuring that all our buildings remain in good condition. You will not be required to do anything invasive only clean and tidy in the buildings and inspect them for signs of pest damage, structural problems, mold or water damage.

In return you will get unparalleled access to these buildings, plenty of time in the fresh air, and the opportunity to meet lots of new people. Orientation and supplies will be provided.

Our ideal volunteer will be reliable, enjoy routine, have an eye for detail, work well under direction, and have excellent communication skills.

The post will begin April 3rd 2023. Shifts will occur when the Village is closed to the public. They will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, beginning at 10:00am and lasting 2 hours. Shifts must be completed in pairs.
