· Park hosts will open and close park gates, patrol the parks several times a day, check restrooms for cleanliness, pick up trash as needed and relay any security or safety concerns to Park Rangers. A park host must always have a clean , neat appearance while on duty, work a minimum of 20 hours a week but expect more especially on holidays and weekends, be able to communicate the rules and regulations to the public in a calm manner, and be able to assist the public with any questions.
