Live and Work in Yosemite. Working in the Wawona Visitor Center and out in the field we (The Division of Interpretation) try to connect people to place!


Wawona is the southern most district in Yosemite National Park and is visited by people from all over the world. This district is known for the Mariposa Grove and the Yosemite History Center, which has several historic buildings and offers stage rides 4-5 days per week. This position supports the Wawona Interpretation team in providing visitors with reliable information to better navigate their park experience. Major Duties: · Staff Visitor Center · Provide the public with up-to-date, accurate park information in a calm, patient and polite manner · Informal Roves: Conduct scheduled patrols of highly used areas to provide information, orientation, and education, and to effectively interpret Park resources. May include operating a vehicle. Minor Duties: · Perform clerical duties, such as filing and operating a copy machine · Perform other duties as assigned
