Special Spaces is a national, not-for-profit organization that creates dream bedrooms for children with cancer. Special Spaces transforms the child's existing bedroom into a space that reflects his or her spirit. Whether it’s princess pretty, superhero strong or a teen retreat theme, a team of dedicated volunteers come together to make the child's vision a reality. If you are handy and/or have carpentry skills, WE NEED YOU! We are looking for volunteers to assist in creating dream bedrooms. Duties can include assembling furniture, hanging shelving/art, installing window treatments, and more. If you are a talented woodworker, we also need volunteers to create custom builds for our makeovers.
