Golf Committee Volunteers Needed - Midland Golf Classic
ORGANIZATION: MIDLAND FOUNDATION
Please visit the new page to apply.

The Midland Foundation’s events help us build and strengthen our programs and improve outcomes for each and every one of our students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Midland hosts three annual events to support fundraising efforts, one of which is The Midland Golf Classic. The committee is currently seeking new members to help grow this important - and fun - fundraiser being held in Oct. 16, 2023 at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. The cost to play in the outing is $675 per person. There are also multiple sponsorship opportunities, many of which that include foursomes.
We recently had three long-time golf committee members retire and there are two openings on The Midland Golf Classic Committee. The committee is currently comprised of 4 people from across New Jersey.
This is an overview of what the committee does:
- Participate in virtual meetings that are held once a month from April - October. Meetings last no longer than 45 minutes.
- Decide on the golfer give away.
- Make decisions on how to improve event and where to host the outing.
- Spread the word about the event to friends and associates
If are interested in learning more about the committee and how you can help, please contact Gail Russell, Director of Development at The Midland Foundation: russell@midlandnj.org or 908-800-9941.
