The Administrative Services Assistant communicates with guests in person at our front desk to determine the purpose of their visit and by phone to answer general questions about the organization or a specific department.
Key responsibilities include: Answering calls from those who have general questions about the organization; Data Entry into Google Forms; Working within a department, answering calls specifically for that department; Greeting guest(s) at our front desk and determining their purpose for visiting
This opportunity is available for individuals who are the age of 18 and over and can commit to a minimum of one weekday per week for two hours between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (in person). As a volunteer in the business administration department, you will help serve as the initial point of contact for the guest who arrives at our welcome center and for individuals who contact us by phone helping to set a positive tone for each guest and caller experience, so they know their needs are being addressed.

A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit organization that provides holistic support to families in need. We furnish the homes of children and adults who are transitioning out of domestic violence or homeless shelters, or who are simply living without what most of us take for granted - beds, dressers, sheets, towels, and other basic need items. We offer educational programs on topics ranging from job skills and money management to stress management and other life skills. We also provide wrap-around support to those seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce, including professional attire, education, and one-on-one support. We work with the most vulnerable among us, and we do whatever we can do to help them move toward stability and independence.
